Job Title: National Transport Manager

We are seeking an experienced National Transport Manager to oversee transportation operations across the group, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with legal standards
  • Maintain safety protocols and effectively manage budgets
  • Oversee driver performance and implement initiatives to reduce insurance claims
  • Manage all transport operations, including route planning and driver resource allocation
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules to ensure operational consistency
  • Enforce health and safety procedures and implement safety improvements
Requirements:
  • Experience in a transport management role, ideally with depot or warehouse management experience
  • Familiarity with FORS Bronze and Silver requirements
  • Desirable: experience handling heavy goods or equipment and a Management CPC qualification
