  • Represent the Sponsor and/or Programme Director in day-to-day duties required by the Programme, recommending any changes required to maximise the delivery of outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Change team to ensure delivery remains aligned to organisational objectives and has the right conditions to succeed in delivering benefits and outcomes that contribute to Imperial's strategy.
  • Play an active role in developing our team culture and the project delivery capability of our team and wider University.
What You'll Need
  • Recognised project management and/or programme management qualification (e.g. Agile, APM, MSP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in delivering organisation-wide or large-scale transformation, business change, or strategic programmes in digital, people, or infrastructure transformation.
  • Experience in leading the planning and management of complex projects and programmes under varied methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid, product-led).
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of quality, benefits, outcomes, and value for money in a range of strategic organisation-wide projects or programmes.
  • Experience of establishing and managing cross-organisation project delivery frameworks and processes, including governance, benefits, and risk management, and assurance and readiness assessments.
  • Experience of negotiating and working with a broad range of stakeholders on large programmes.
  • Experience driving change in a complex organisation, ideally in the HE sector or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of a range of project management delivery methodologies and how to successfully apply them in different settings.
  • Knowledge of project and programme processes throughout delivery from inception to post-implementation and evaluation.
  • Confident user of computer software packages at intermediate level, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with additional experience using project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira or similar).
What We Offer
  • A leading role in delivering an ambitious transformation agenda within a world-leading institution, in support of our mission of science for humanity.
  • The opportunity to develop your programme management and change management expertise through working on a variety of strategic and organisation-wide programmes.
  • An active role in our senior management team, helping to shape our culture of innovation and continuous improvement and develop Imperial's project delivery capability.
  • Benefit from sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 39 days off a year and generous pension schemes).
  • Get access to a range of workplace benefits, including a flexible working policy from day 1, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities, and a cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work culture with various resources designed to support your personal and professional development.
