About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Lettings Negotiator to join our rapidly growing department based in Ringwood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end property letting process and property management of retirement apartments across the country.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Generate, book and conduct market appraisals to ensure accurate valuations and optimal rental income.
  • Arrange and follow up viewings to showcase our properties to potential tenants.
  • Negotiate the best possible price for our landlords, ensuring maximum returns on their investments.
  • Keep landlords informed about the marketing of their properties, providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Grow our portfolio of available and let properties, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with Lodge/Development Managers and Contractors to ensure seamless property management.
  • Prepare and process all paperwork for new tenancies, existing tenancies, renewals and terminations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Process rental payments and contractor invoices, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide a property management service for our fully managed portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Arrange essential safety checks, such as EICRs and EPCs, and conduct inventories to ensure properties comply with current legislation.
  • Communicate the lifestyle benefits of Retirement Living and other unique selling points to potential tenants.
  • Prepare marketing brochures for each property, highlighting its unique features and attractions.
About You

We are looking for a motivated, successful and experienced Lettings Negotiator who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth. Previous lettings and/or property management experience is essential, as is a demonstrable knowledge of current legislation. Full training and support will be provided, along with the opportunity to gain professional qualifications (ARLA/CELA).

You will be a self-motivated and organized individual, able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent computer skills, including MS Office applications, are also essential. A high standard of written and spoken English is required, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
