Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating informed decision-making regarding clinical products, and developing interdepartmental cost control initiatives.
  • Managing the relationship between clinical and procurement functions to foster innovative practices and ensure compliance.
  • Providing clinical expertise and advice to the procurement team, ensuring adherence to standardized products and optimizing catalog offerings.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and product evaluation groups to support the Trust's sustainability and cost improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications

  • A degree-level clinical qualification.
  • Post-qualification experience across various disciplines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management.
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Completion of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Code of Ethics.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of spreadsheets.

Experience Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical care across various specialties.
