About the Role

This is a brand new position within our organization, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Strategic Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing productive relationships between our IT department and key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, manage, and develop productive relationships between IT, Procurement & Commercial, and IT key suppliers.
  • Support Supplier Segmentation in collaboration with IT to identify key suppliers.
  • Provide commercial and contractual advice and insights to Procurement and Commercial leadership and directors.
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers within a services or software/SaaS or telco/hardware category with a value of £50-100m per annum.
  • Manage the performance and develop the capabilities of a Contract Manager(s).
Requirements
  • Comprehensive and proven in-depth knowledge and experience of the IT and/or telco market and supply chain.
  • Experience in drafting, interpreting, and negotiating complex IT & telco contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience in building and maintaining relationships with IT & telco suppliers.
  • Proven track record in communicating effectively with senior management and directors to build valued and 'trusted partner' relationships.
  • Experience in leading complex technology commercial negotiations and operating with a strategic/long-term mindset.
