POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inspection Team Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Inspection department, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and manage the Inspection Team, guiding them in their daily activities.
  • Coordinate with external inspectors as necessary to maintain compliance and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and enhance the performance of the inspection personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Inspection Supervisor to implement best practices that optimize productivity.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior inspectors.
  • Confirm material specifications align with work orders.
  • Assess the appropriateness of materials for inspection processes.
  • Identify and report any conditions that may require customer notification.
  • Engage with client representatives to ensure their expectations are met.
  • Select, set up, and utilize inspection equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ensure accurate material identification through marking, stenciling, and coding.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) and non-destructive evaluation (NDE), adhering to specified requirements.
  • Monitor the condition and performance of equipment, reporting any issues of loss, damage, or misuse.
  • Maintain precise records of all relevant data and inspection results.
  • Classify materials according to established criteria.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports suitable for communication with administrative staff or clients.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and manage the ordering of necessary supplies.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed to fulfill business needs, ensuring that instructions are reasonable and within the employee's competencies.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols in line with the Health and Safety Policy and Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain a safety-first mindset and report any hazards to the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) representative.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficiency in MPI / LPI / EMI / UT techniques (mandatory).
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Familiarity with NS-2 / DS-1 Specifications (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience (mandatory).
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • In-depth knowledge of drilling tubulars and pipe yards (mandatory).
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (mandatory).
