We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Nurse to join our team at The House Partnership. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing advice and guidance to patients and colleagues
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure effective delivery of services
- Develop and maintain a high standard of clinical practice, adhering to NMC Code of Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
- Conduct treatment room duties, including suture removal, wound care, ECG, phlebotomy, and urinalysis
- Administer prescribed medication and ensure safe custody of drugs
- Assist with cervical screening, Warfarin monitoring, and minor surgery
- Contribute to the development of infection control policies and procedures
- Provide training and supervision to junior nursing staff
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
