Job Title: Nursery Nurse
Job Summary:
Nurse Seekers is proud to be working with an independent Ofsted rated Outstanding Nursery based near Redhill, Surrey. The nursery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join their team in providing high-quality early years education and care for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Assist with daily routines and use knowledge of child development to assess progress.
- Support the Room Leader in modeling best practices and ensuring equal opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with parents.
- Engage respectfully with children, plan engaging activities to support learning, and document observations and next steps.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met, including cleanliness, dietary requirements, attendance records, and administering medication and First Aid as needed.
- Complete mandatory training, attend staff meetings, and engage in professional development opportunities to maintain high-quality practice and company values.
- Support colleagues and be a positive role model, suggesting positive changes to improve the team.
