About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Advisor to join our team at Southdown Housing Association. As a Recovery Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises to manage their wellbeing within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide brief interventions to help individuals safely deescalate and manage their emotional distress in the short term.
  • Support individuals to identify their needs and connect with local NHS and community support services to aid in their recovery journeys.
  • Work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of resilience in a fast-paced environment.
