About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to join our team at Simple Machines, a company that specializes in architecting modern data platforms and designing data driven software applications and products.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how modern software is built and delivered, with a strong track record of providing product management expertise in a client facing role.

The Senior Product Manager will work closely with our cross-functional project teams to deliver new data led solutions for our enterprise clients, taking ownership of the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide product management expertise within the team, leading the work of the Simple Machines engineering team and advising client stakeholders on how to build great products.
  • Take ownership of the full product lifecycle, driving great discovery work, facilitating efficient build and release, and closing the lifecycle loop with data and feedback gathering.
  • Deliver a valuable product to our clients by helping them to realize and measure the benefit of the solutions the team is building.
  • Owning relationships with client stakeholders, helping to maintain and enhance Simple Machines' reputation with that client and in the wider market.
Requirements
  • Refined understanding of how modern software is built and delivered, with hands on experience as a Product Manager in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate information between people at all levels of the business.
  • Personal interest in best practice and trends of the technology and data industries, with the ability to apply these to your day-to-day work and drive improving outcomes for the team.
  • A relationship builder by nature, with the ability to thrive in new teams and new situations.
  • A proactive person who knows what needs to be done to deliver, how to approach it, and how to influence others to move things forward.
