Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Hightown Housing Association. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in delivering our organizational development strategy and supporting the growth and development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate the annual training plan using staff annual appraisals and learning needs analysis to ensure that our staff have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent services to our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development team to deliver our annual staff conference, which provides a platform for staff to share best practices, learn from each other, and develop their skills.
  • Support the wider organization through the delivery of the annual training plan, which forms part of our HR People Plan, to ensure that our staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver our strategic objectives.
  • Design and deliver training programs with the ability to present across different levels of employees from entry-level to mid-management, ensuring that our staff have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent services to our residents.
  • Utilize your expertise in Learning and Development to support the growth and development of our staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver our strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels, building strong relationships and influencing others to achieve our strategic objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • A competitive salary of up to £33,432 per annum, depending on experience.
