About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the Wayman Learning Trust team on a full-time basis. This is a permanent HLTA position that will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting class teachers in the delivery of high-quality lessons, promoting a positive learning environment and managing classroom behavior.
  • Leading small group interventions and providing one-on-one support to students as needed, contributing to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning activities, covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passionate about supporting student learning and development.
