About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Ultrasound Services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert ultrasound services to patients, including obstetrics, gynaecology, and general medical ultrasound.
  • Develop and implement training programs for sonographers, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the governance and leadership of our ultrasound services, working closely with the Lead Sonographers.
  • Supervise and mentor less experienced colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • DMU or PgD in Ultrasound.
  • HCPC / NMC / RCT registration or equivalent registration with a professional body.
  • Advanced clinical study.
