We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to join our 2nd line of defence Risk team at Ultimate Banking. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the embedding of credit and financial risk management frameworks to ensure they are robust and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare risk analysis reports for relevant stakeholders and committees.
  • Present risk data and intelligence in a clear and effective manner.
  • Interpret data, analyze themes and trends, and communicate insights to drive business decisions.
  • Support the development and implementation of a robust risk management framework, including risk management and policy reviews.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of credit risk portfolio performance to identify emerging risks.
  • Collaborate with various business units, including IT, to create and automate tools for prudential risk projects.
  • Enhance credit risk capabilities by incorporating new data sources in credit risk oversight.

As a Risk Analyst at Ultimate Banking, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-centric environment. We offer a hybrid approach to work, allowing you to balance remote and office work. If you have experience in financial risk management, you can work largely remotely; if less experienced, you will be required to work in the office 2-3 days a week.

Requirements:
  • Proven analysis skills with advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, Power Query, and VBA.
  • 1+ year of experience in a risk management or data analytics role.
  • Experience in producing insightful analysis from data sets.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field, such as finance, accounting, mathematics, science, computer science, or economics.
  • Understanding of credit risk and broader prudential risks, with knowledge of the prudential regulatory framework.

This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. We welcome applications from both junior and senior candidates with relevant experience in risk management and analytics.
