Nurse Associate Role

We are seeking a qualified Nursing Associate to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, a leading provider of mental health, learning disability and specialist services.
As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in providing holistic and person-centered care, working independently under the leadership of registered nurses to support patients in their recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care, including mental health and physical health nursing skills, to patients on our acute mental health ward.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patients in their recovery and achieve their goals.
- Support patients to plan and map out their recovery, and implement standards from safe wards.
- A comprehensive range of training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression.

We are looking for a candidate with:
- Nursing Associate qualification and registration with the NMC.
- Sound clinical knowledge underpinned by evidence of theoretical understanding.
- Knowledge of current political drivers, including the Francis Report, Care Act and Mental Health Act.
- IT literacy using a range of current and relevant packages.
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Experience of working in a complex changing environment.
- Demonstrable experience of working within mental health or learning disability care settings.
- Demonstrable experience of working with patients with physical health conditions.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in community settings.
