About the Role

Taylor Root is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join their team in Central London. The successful candidate will work closely with Associates and Partners on business and personal immigration matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research on legal and factual matters, ensuring all relevant information is considered in a case.
  • Review and draft legal documents, including work permits, skilled worker applications, and residency applications.
  • Organize and analyze information, cross-checking and validating data to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare written reports and draft legal documents, including correspondence and letters of advice to clients.
  • Research application processes in the UK and overseas, staying up-to-date with new and updated regulations.
  • Correspond with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on immigration matters.
  • Proofread legal documents and prepare application packs for clients, uploading supporting documents online.
  • Assess eligibility of jobs for sponsorship under the immigration system, advising corporate clients on the best course of action.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in immigration law, preferably from a top-tier private practice law firm. Strong research and analytical skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
