About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Inside Avenue Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters within our client's Group Power Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety best practices to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to management and operational staff on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to monitor health and safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compile and review project SHEQ documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and emergency plans.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Collaborate with the SHEQ Department to ensure effective health, safety, quality, and environmental management across the organization.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard).
  • EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
  • NRSWA (SWQR).
  • Power/Fibre/Water/Gas/renewables experience.
  • Proficient in data analysis and compiling reports.
  • Competent in core standard Microsoft software.
