Position Title: Duty Manager

Location: SPAR, Rhyl, North Wales

Compensation: £12.50 per hour, with potential bonuses

Working Hours: Minimum of 21 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours based on store needs, various shifts available.

Role Overview:
Are you an experienced and motivated leader looking to make an impact in a thriving retail environment? We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to join our team at our award-winning store in Rhyl, North Wales. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the success and growth of our operations.

As a Duty Manager, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a vital role in driving the performance of our Rhyl location.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Store Manager in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performing store while overseeing all operations during Duty Manager shifts.
2. Assist in achieving store objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Manage, coach, and develop team members, fostering a motivated and empowered workforce through an engaging management approach.
4. Handle performance and absence management as necessary.
5. Ensure store security and accountability during shifts, including cash handling and stock management.
6. Lead by example, promoting teamwork to deliver exceptional customer service that distinguishes us from competitors.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance community engagement and support local initiatives.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills:
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a food retail or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Effective planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
- Decisive and capable of taking appropriate actions.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
