Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to operate within a prominent facilities management organization.

The role of the Facilities Maintenance Technician encompasses various responsibilities across multiple sites, focusing on maintaining building services while optimizing costs. Previous experience in commercial environments, especially within the retail industry, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

The position involves a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responsive maintenance tasks, both internally and externally, including:

Building Maintenance

  • Roof - address leaks and conduct regular gutter and drainage clearance
  • Brickwork - perform repairs on walls
  • Flooring - fix vinyl and ceramic tiles
  • Outdoor areas - manage car park and yard maintenance
  • Roller Shutters - conduct annual PPM and reactive repairs

Painting and Decorating

  • Execute minor painting tasks as needed

Plumbing and Drainage

  • Clear blockages in drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks
  • Fix leaking taps and replace washers

Compensation and Benefits:
