CareTech is seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Manager to oversee the domestic repairs and maintenance upkeep of our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying projects to improve the facility's image and functionality.

The ideal candidate will have building and maintenance knowledge and be able to provide effective leadership and guidance to the maintenance team. They will also be responsible for liaising with the Regional Facilities Manager and Estates Manager as needed.

The Site Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance team to ensure effective and proactive leadership, guidance, and management.
  • Ensure compliance with all current and prevailing regulations for Environmental Health and the standards of the regulatory body for inspections.
  • Identify projects around the facility that will improve the image, functionality, operational, or educational efficiency use of the facility for staff, students, or visitors.
  • Liaise closely with the Regional Facilities Manager on larger projects and seek the Estates Manager's regular assistance.
  • Ensure that projects are completed within program and budget, and that areas occupied by contractors/suppliers are left in good condition.
