This Senior Academic Clinician/Honorary Consultant post is a unique opportunity to join the esteemed team at the University of Leicester. As a key member of the Leicester Cancer Research Centre, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and clinicians working together to advance cancer research and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research programs within the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Cancer Theme.
- Enhance impact activity and develop a program of high-quality research, collaborating with cross-cutting research between Cancer and other themes.
- Supervise a team of clinical and non-clinical postgraduate and undergraduate researchers.
- Contribute to teaching delivery within the College.
- Deliver clinical medical oncology services at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
About You
We are seeking a high-calibre clinician/scientist with a strong research profile and a proven track record of generating research income. You will have a deep understanding of the latest developments in cancer research and treatment, and be able to contribute to the advancement of our research programs.
