About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre clinician/scientist to join our multi-disciplinary team in the Leicester Cancer Research Centre. As a Senior Research Clinician, you will be based within a team of scientists and clinicians with a national and international reputation in translational and clinical cancer research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a research profile of national/international standing and become a significant research income generator.
  • Enhance impact activity and develop a programme of high-quality research within the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Cancer Theme.
  • Supervise a team of clinical and non-clinical postgraduate and undergraduate researchers.
  • Contribute to teaching delivery within the College.
  • Deliver five programmed activities to the Consultant clinical medical oncology service at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
