Job Summary
Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial health and ensuring efficient financial operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly management reports and provide commentary on areas of interest
- Supervise the accounts payable, receivable, and credit control functions
- Identify areas for improved financial performance and implement changes
- Conduct financial analysis and highlight potential risks
- Work closely with the directors on projects and day-to-day operations
- Assist with statutory account procedures and VAT reporting
- Supervise the outsourced payroll function
- Assist in training and developing members of the finance team
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced candidate with several years of high-level finance exposure, either part- or fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by vocational experience. The ideal candidate will possess a forward-thinking and dynamic approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing a small team and confidence in using cloud-based accounting platforms is highly desirable.
