Interim Finance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to join our client, a reputable charity based in Truro, on a full-time contract basis. The role will involve managing a team of 3-4 and ensuring the high-quality day-to-day financial operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance and development of the charity's digital accounting platforms, including Xero, Sage, and bespoke tools.
  2. Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of transactional-focused colleagues.
  3. Ensure adherence to charity reporting deadlines and procedures.
  4. Regularly partner with other colleagues and departments outside of finance, leading and influencing on best practice.
  5. Regularly attend strategic and operational meetings, reporting on the financial position.
  6. Assist with month and year-end procedures, and annual audit.
  7. Budgeting and forecasting.
  8. Cashflow reporting.
