Radiographer (Bank) - Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer to join our team on a bank basis. As a Radiographer at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, working within the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
- Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment, and facilities.
- As a clinical lead, develop policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Supervise and develop more junior staff members to ensure their growth and development.
- Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
Requirements
- High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
- A caring nature, to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
- A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, and a postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization.
- Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/or qualification are desirable.
- Post-registration experience relevant to the role.
- Excellent communication and team working abilities.
