Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer (Bank) to join our team at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital. As a Radiographer (Bank), you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, including inpatient and outpatient services.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Supervise and develop junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
Requirements
- High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
- A caring nature, with the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
- A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, with a postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization.
- Post-registration experience relevant to the role, with a strong understanding of radiation protection principles.
- Excellent communication and team working abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
