2nd Line Engineer Opportunity

FryerMiles Recruitment is working with a leading Technology company to assist with the recruitment of a 2nd Line Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing complex project engineering activities, working closely with the Head of department to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve customer tickets in a timely manner.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support for servers, networks, and desktops.
  • End-to-end ownership of customer tickets, ensuring seamless resolution.
  • Manage and work to internal and customer SLAs, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Maintain client expectations and work closely with customers to support their infrastructure.
  • Install and configure hardware and software as required.
  • Develop and maintain customer-specific infrastructure documentation within the IT Glue Knowledge System.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in IT engineering, supporting customers.
  • Familiarity with working to SLAs to meet customer and contract requirements.
  • Experience working as part of a wider service delivery team.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows Server Technologies, Active Directory, and Office 365.
