Community Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of one year of post-registration clinical experience in mental health to join our friendly and motivated team.
Job Summary:This role involves a degree of autonomous working and provides an opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of older adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, and varying levels of frailty.
Main Responsibilities:- Completing holistic mental health assessments for older adults, including the identification and management of risks to the individual, others, or from others.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans.
- Supporting service users in maximizing their recovery opportunities.
- Providing support to the carers of service users.
- Providing clinical supervision to junior colleagues.
- Acting as a student Nurse assessor and supervisor.
- Participating in ongoing educational and research programs.
- RMN and valid NMC registration.
- Evidence of post-registration qualification.
- A practice assessor and supervisor.
- Venepucture certificate.
- ECG training qualification.
