Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for Children and Adolescents, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to our multidisciplinary teams, working directly with young people and their families, and participating in the on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Redbridge.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Work directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
- Participate in the on-call rota with a 3% on-call supplement.
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- CCT or equivalent.
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
