About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CBT Practitioner to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a High Intensity CBT Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological therapies to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate treatment plans for clients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Deliver high-intensity CBT interventions, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to less experienced therapists, promoting professional development and excellence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives, ensuring best practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in CBT and mental health.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate diploma in High Intensity IAPT or CYPIAPT, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people, with a strong understanding of their mental health needs and challenges.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on evidence-based interventions and best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands, with a flexible and responsive approach.
