Civil Engineering CAD Technician

Our client, a prominent independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary practice in the built environment, is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineering CAD Technician to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing technical drawings to facilitate residential and commercial planning submissions.
  • Creating engineering drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.
  • Producing engineering base plans to assist in the detailed design of residential developments.
  • Engaging directly with clients as required.

Candidate Profile:
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and adept at drawing setup.
  • Previous experience in civil engineering, particularly in road and drainage projects within the residential sector.
  • Proactive and self-driven.
  • Able to perform well under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within teams and take responsibility for individual contributions.
  • Capable of professional client interactions.
