Senior Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a wide range of projects, including client liaison, financial management, and quality management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the delivery of projects, including client liaison, financial management, and quality management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians in the development of their design and project information.
  • Have experience in the engineering design of both the public realm and new development infrastructure.
  • Have technical design excellence and detailed understanding of relevant approvals processes for highways, earthworks, and drainage design/adoption, including SuDS.
  • Be experienced with roads and drainage design, working in accordance with section 38s, 104s & 278s, within development-led projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer, with a strong track record of project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
  • Experience with Civils3D, MicroDrainage, and PDS software.
