Service Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our engineering equipment service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving excellence and fostering a culture of customer-centric service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate resources at our Service Centre for service jobs based on customer requirements.
  • Implement effective service planning, review performance standards, and create improvement programs.
  • Manage a small team of employees consisting of field and in-house service engineers.
  • Arrange practical equipment and service training.
  • Actively advocate for service and equipment sales within the Service team.
  • Work closely with service sales to understand customer needs and identify ways services can provide support.
  • Contribute to the development of new services for clients.
  • Handle customer complaints and repair cost reimbursement requests efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Professional background in servicing technical engineering equipment.
  • People management is of the essence and essential.
  • Willingness to travel mainly within the assigned territory as well as other global locations when required.
  • Full UK driving license.

The Package:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £60k per annum, plus other benefits including bonus and company vehicle.
