Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver a range of activities and programs that cater to the needs and interests of children aged 5-14.
  • Child Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, providing active supervision and attention during activities and breaks.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to deliver sessions and ensure a smooth operation of the camp.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, reporting any concerns or incidents to senior staff.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications: Have experience or qualifications working with children, preferably in a childcare or education setting.
  • Age and Eligibility: Be aged 18 or over by the start date of your contract and eligible to work in the UK.
  • References and DBS: Provide satisfactory professional/academic references and obtain an enhanced DBS check through Barracudas or have an existing enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
  • Training and Development: Attend Virtual Assessment Events, Online Training, and Induction Training Day as required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the company fulfils all its health and safety obligations by carefully following instructions and showing a proactive and diligent approach to all safety issues.
  • Activity Planning: Plan activities that are appropriate for the children in your care, taking into account their interests and abilities.
  • Child Welfare: Ensure the children under your supervision behave in a safe manner, always knowing their whereabouts and respecting them as individuals.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other staff members to deliver sessions and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
