About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dietitian to join our Nutrition and Dietetic department at Bedford Hospital. The successful candidate will provide specialist dietetic input for patients with oncology-related conditions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload of oncology patients, providing specialist dietetic input and support.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant multidisciplinary team (MDT) clinics, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide a highly specialist dietetics service to consultant-led outpatient clinics, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

Person Specification:

  • Essential:
    • Degree in dietetics
    • HCPC registered
    • Oncology experience
    • Experience managing own caseload
    • Experience supervising dietitians/dietetic assistant practitioners
  • Desirable:
    • NHS experience
