We are seeking dedicated and hard-working Learning Support Assistants to join our team at Activate Learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and other associated difficulties on courses designed for those with Autism and associated difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate individual learning programmes to meet the needs of students with Autism and associated difficulties.
- Provide support to students in small groups and 1-1 activities, using creative and purposeful lesson planning in collaboration with ASC Coordinators.
- Support students to access learning on their course within the mainstream learning environment and off-site activities.
- Assist with personal care, with training provided.
- Good communication skills to work with tutors and ensure the delivery of an effective programme of further education.
- Ability to work as part of a co-ordination team.
- Willingness to learn about Autism and other associated difficulties.
