Cameron James is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team as an Account Handler - General Insurance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading independent insurance broker and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Provide quotes for commercial business, including combined, liability, fleet, and package policies
- Handle new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals
- Conduct full broking exercises on new business and renewals
- Liaise with insurers to find the best deal for clients
- Present options to clients and negotiate premiums
- Deal with premiums ranging from £5k to £500k
Requirements:
- Previous SME insurance experience is essential
- Live within commutable distance of the office or be willing to relocate
- Experience with MS applications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working at a commercial level within the insurance broking industry. They will be highly competent in all areas of commercial broking and naturally inclined to take responsibility for ensuring a high standard of performance is achieved.
The candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, experience in motivating a workforce to achieve growth and business development, and a willingness to personally engage in any activity required by the business.
The candidate will have a sound work ethic and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. They will demonstrate ambition to develop the business and themselves, with the ability to implement business plans with successful effect to ensure long-term profits.
