About the Role

Stride Resource Management Ltd is seeking a skilled Commercial Underwriter to join our team. As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting general commercial business, mainly renewals, and supporting new business quotations. You will work closely with a unique and close panel of supporting broker offices across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Renewal underwriting for an allocation of accounts
  • Support the new business process and contribute to the growth of the business
  • Manage day-to-day underwriting queries and provide a high-quality service to supporting broker offices
  • Engage with risk management initiatives where appropriate
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years Commercial underwriting experience, whether with an insurer, MGA, or under a Delegated Authority
  • Cert CII is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of underwriting are maintained
