Our Court of Protection TeamOur Court of Protection team is dedicated to providing expert advice and representation to individuals who lack mental capacity. We have a proven track record of achieving the best possible results for our clients and are committed to providing a high level of service.
Main Responsibilities of the Role- Assist with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications.
- Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
- Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures.
- Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews.
- Ensure compliance with file management.
- Demonstrate passion and experience in Court of Protection law.
- Strong academic background with a Law degree.
- Legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor.
- Clear understanding and application of Court of Protection law.
- Business acumen and ability to market the Company.
- Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people.
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance.
- Committed team player, self-motivated and professional.
- Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
