Key Responsibilities

Collaborating with dietetics and clinical teams, our catering services ensure that patients receive nutritionally balanced meals that support their recovery, in accordance with national guidelines and our Food and Drink Strategy.

You will be involved in delivering a comprehensive catering service that offers choices to patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to legislative and mandatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high standards for food and beverage preparation, including hot, cold, and ambient items.

The role encompasses a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Taking meal orders from patients in person
  • Serving meals to patients
  • Clearing tables and washing dishes
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Receiving and monitoring deliveries
  • Organizing food items and ensuring proper labeling and stock control

In return, you will receive comprehensive support, training, and guidance to help you perform all catering duties effectively.
