Position Overview:
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Ecology or a related discipline;
- Hold membership in the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) or a comparable organization;
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge in protected species, particularly bats and great crested newts, along with a class license for one or more protected species;
- Have a comprehensive understanding of current European Protected Species Licensing (EPSL), Low Impact Class License (LICL), and District Level Licensing frameworks;
- Bring a minimum of three years of relevant ecological experience, showcasing strong report writing capabilities;
- Exhibit proficiency in best practice survey methodologies and applicable wildlife legislation;
- Be adept at providing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and specific species assessments;
- Possess competency in Microsoft Office applications and preferably some familiarity with GIS software;
- Hold a full, clean UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.

What We Offer:
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000, commensurate with experience.
