About the Role

Sword Careers is seeking an experienced Applications Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our customers' portfolio of applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for a diverse portfolio of applications, including Real-Time asset information systems (primarily OSI PI) and Bazefield.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with our development team to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure that our customers have access to the information they need.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous extensive experience as an Applications Engineer.
  • Experience of supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios, with a knowledge of SQL, Oracle and necessary database interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
