About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at IQE, a leading supplier of compound semiconductor wafer products and advanced material solutions to the global semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality and specifications are met to the highest standard.
  • Manage multiple MOCVD reactors and products as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Technology and Planning teams to ensure customer requirements are met in full, on time, and to plan.
  • Generate customer certificates of compliance as necessary and review production material prior to shipment.
  • Inspect production and characterization data and authorize product release to customers.
  • Provide technical support for issues arising in connection with bay operations.
  • Utilize technical data to drive effective decision-making.
  • Assist the shift production engineering team in problem-solving activities out of hours.
  • Prepare and present reports on product and production-related data as required.
  • Monitor reactor performance, including SPC charts, and identify solutions to production problems.
  • Participate in yield and process improvement programs.
  • Adhere to internal safety, HR, environmental, and quality guidelines and procedures.

About You

  • Hold a graduate degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant semiconductor technology/growth experience.
  • Have previous experience in MOCVD growth and InP growth.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
