Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager SiC Process Engineering to contribute to the success of our company through driving best-in-class processes and yield performance with leadership and expertise in SiC process integration and project optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and qualify semiconductor SiC wafer fabrication processes.
  • Develop new wafer process modules for SiC wafers.
  • Execute major process development and/or integration tasks and build up products.
  • Maintain and improve process modules, including design rules, structural and electrical specifications.
  • Design critical experiments and analyze data.
  • Identify and quantify key module deficiencies/technology gaps and drive cross-functional teams to address.
  • Assist in the transfer of a new technology from R&D to manufacturing ramp and qualification.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Master's or B.S. degree in Semiconductor Device Physics or Semiconductor Technology and/or Microelectronics.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor devices and industrial semiconductor technology.
  • Hands-on experience in wafer fab process module developments on furnace equipment.
  • Experience with manufacturing and standard cost environment required, with exposure to Semiconductor process-oriented environments preferred.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts is highly desirable.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present and interact at a leadership level.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement and assess viable solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to assess and manage priorities.
  • Effective communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with ability to build rapport with Operations and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel.
