We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Operations Manager to become a vital part of our team at Firmdale Hotels.

In collaboration with all Night Managers and under the guidance of the Group Night Manager, you will be tasked with supervising the overnight activities across our eight properties in London. Your role requires confidence and adaptability to handle a diverse range of scenarios within the business, including Events, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel during night hours
  • Continuously monitor and uphold our service excellence standards
  • Perform regular health and safety inspections
  • Provide and maintain outstanding customer service levels
  • Build and nurture professional relationships with guests
  • Respond to and manage any incidents or emergencies involving guests or staff
  • Offer operational support to all departments as required
  • Conduct night audits and generate nightly reports for senior management

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in a Night Manager role within a luxury hotel environment
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards
  • Proven leadership and motivational capabilities
  • Resilience and determination to achieve excellence on the first attempt
  • Familiarity with Micros and Opera systems is advantageous
  • Conduct spot checks throughout the hotel as directed by the Group Night Manager
  • Assist in updating and creating night Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
