Chair of Trustees Opportunity

We are seeking a driven professional to join Trust in Learning (Academies) as Chair of Trustees. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation and ensuring we continue to provide excellent primary education in Bristol.

About Us

Trust in Learning (Academies) is a nine-school cross-phase Trust focused on serving communities with high levels of disadvantage through excellent education and community support. We originated from a sponsorship arrangement involving two secondary schools and have since grown into a thriving organisation.

Our Mission

We are committed to creating an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and personally, with opportunities for enrichment and a community-led approach to education. As Chair of Trustees, you will work closely with our CEO to manage relationships with local and national education providers, the Department for Education, funders, and local authorities.

Your Role

You will be responsible for leading our Trustee Board, providing strategic direction, and ensuring we remain committed to our mission. Your professional experience should include governance, financial planning, and education. You will also be expected to invest time in building relationships and understanding the unique challenges of our Trust.
