Peridot Partners and Trust in Learning (Academies) are seeking a driven professional to join as Chair of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated individuals who are committed to providing excellent primary education in Bristol.

About Us

Trust in Learning (Academies) exists to provide high-quality education to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are a nine-school cross-phase Trust that originated from a sponsorship arrangement involving two secondary schools. Our mission is to create schools with local identities and provide excellent education and community support.

We are seeking a Chair who understands our mission and is committed to serving our communities. The ideal candidate will have experience in governance, financial planning, and education. They should be willing to invest time in building relationships and understanding the unique challenges of the Trust.

We welcome applicants who seek to join us in creating an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and personally. Our new Chair will work closely with our CEO to manage relationships with local and national education providers, the Department for Education, funders, and local authorities.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references before any final offer can be made.
