Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SENCo to join our team at Academics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent pastoral care across the school and leading a team of Teaching Assistants.

About the Role:

This is a part time SENCo position, with the opportunity to work 1 to 2 days per week. The role is a fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Teaching Assistants to provide excellent pastoral care across the school
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with special educational needs
  • Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the school's special educational needs provision is of the highest quality
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible education
