Our client, a leading Further Education provider, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Estates and Facilities Management to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to the estates service, guiding the departmental team in creating a safe, sustainable, and positive environment across college campuses for students and staff.

The Director of Estates and Facilities Management will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing capital projects across the estate, securing external funding opportunities, and project managing significant refurbishment or new build projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successful strategic and project planning, with comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and management skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business growth. They will be responsible for developing and implementing estate strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

The Director of Estates and Facilities Management will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Chief Executive and other senior leaders to drive business growth and improvement. They will be responsible for ensuring that the estates service is aligned with the organization's overall strategy and that it is providing a high-quality service to students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a leadership role within estates and/or facilities management, with a proven track record of success in strategic and project planning. They will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the Further Education sector and the challenges and opportunities that it presents.

The Director of Estates and Facilities Management will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality services to students and staff. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and will be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business growth. They will be responsible for developing and implementing estate strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
