Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people.
    • Oversee the delivery of safe, compliant, and enriching experiences, meeting regulatory requirements.

    • Manage internal and external review meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
    • Oversee Individual Support Plans and behaviour management interventions, ensuring the needs of each child and young person are met.
    • Ensure proper administration of medication, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
    • Incorporate children and young people's views into the development of the provision, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
    • Maintain positive relationships with families, management, and external agencies, ensuring effective partnerships and collaborations.
    • Ensure compliance with Ofsted registration requirements, maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain the safety and upkeep of the building and grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, Childcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Mandatory Safeguarding training, ensuring a high level of awareness and understanding.
  • Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in an education or care setting.
  • Strong ICT skills and decision-making abilities, ensuring effective use of technology and resources.
  • Experience in team management and training, ensuring staff are equipped to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and Ofsted regulations, ensuring a high level of regulatory compliance.
  • Budget management experience, ensuring effective use of resources and financial management.
  • Experience with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and complex medical needs, ensuring a high level of understanding and support.
